There lay a dark shadow on Middle-earth, pouring forth from the east and slowly creeping across the land. Dark forces are at work here. Ancient forces that threaten to plunge the land into a darkness, the likes of which the world has never seen. From a glance, it appears that all is lost—that the dark lord is too strong to resist. But we mustn’t lose faith. We are accompanied by the spirits of all those passed—all those who have suffered at the hands of Sauron—and they cry for vengeance. We shall not fail… we cannot fail. We will rise from the ashes and stand against the armies of Mordor with a strength no enemy can endure. We are blessed in our journey, and with us, the power of the Valar graces our footsteps.. We will lift up the peoples of Middle-earth and ride against those who would destroy that which is good. This is our quest… our purpose… this is the Ascent of the Blessed.

Ascent of the Blessed is a friendly kin and we pride ourselves on respect and courtesy. It is our goal to create an enjoyable gaming experience and form a strong, family-like bond between all members. We are not dedicated to any specific form of gameplay and are open to all play styles. We have weekly events that cater to many different groups, including scheduled raid/instances, a kinship lottery, PvP runs (including Monster-play), and more. Please see the calendar for all scheduled events.

It is our goal to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate in kin events and can build up their character to the extent they desire. For information on raid/instance policies please visit the Group Play section.
